We had a great labour day weekend at the PNE with Fall For Local! We did a custom installation for the event as a photo/selfie backdrop. The pom pom wall was a big hit, so we wanted to give you a behind the scenes look at how we assembled it.
We made over 120 pom poms in three sizes hung on seven strands. With making so many poms, we made all of the small ones with pom pom makers. (Shout out to Collage Collage where we got these handy little tools a few years ago!) We used a cardboard template to make the large pom poms, and each big one used 1/2 ball of yarn.
Here’s how it all came together:
We love doing custom work, and were so excited to collaborate with Kelly at Fall for Local. If you have an event coming up, and want to make it extra special, email us at email@example.com, we’d love to chat!
